The Koshi Chimes enrich your session with bamboo resonating sounds that resonate to create eight different chords! These chimes are produced at the foot of the Pyrenean Mountains in France. There are four in all: earth, wind, fire, and air. All four are rich in overtones and enriching harmonics.
The colored ‘Zaphir’ chimes you see above have a similar tuning to the Koshi chimes and the same overtone and harmonic qualities. The difference lies in the artistry of the chimes themselves, and the use of natural veneer that makes them suitable for out door use.
The Balinese Bell
The Sound of Emptiness
Balinese Bells, because of their extraordinary craftsmanship have found a modern day use for space clearing: the clearing unwanted energies from places. They also have become invaluable diagnostic tools for sound healers.
The creating of the bell, with its metals and intention, includes sacred proportion of brass, cadmium, lead, copper, zinc, nickel, chromium and manganese. The proportion at which each one of them mixed is the real science behind a bell, giving it a distinct sound, simplified as pure and resonant.
Its pure tone calls on the high vibrations of love as it expels the old energy. This is especially true when the ringer of the bells adopts an attitude of gratitude and the intention of such. As the sound of the bell moves through energy, an audible dip in volume and tone is created. For the sound healer, these changes in sound and tone are helpful in diagnosing the chakras. The addition of mantra, with the client’s approval, can also enhance the bells extraordinary abilities.
The Bell also helps to create “no-mind” so that you can focus upon Source. In our healing session, perhaps with focus and intention, you could feel this void where everything and nothing exists. I will begin your session with the Bell both to clear energy and evaluate your chakras. Then the loving work of healing may begin. This is the role of the Balinese Bell in Sound Healing.
Sample Mantra
“Aagamaarthamtu devaanaam Gamanaarthamtu rakshasaam Kurve ghantaaravam tatra Devataahvaahna lakshanam”
I ring this bell indicating the invocation of divinity, so that virtuous and noble forces enter (my home and heart), and the demonic and evil forces from within and without, depart from my home and heart.
